Richard Crosbie Dawson MA, FRICS.
Richard has guided the expansion of FIM over the past four decades.
Richard is a Chartered Surveyor whose experience extends to dealing with all property issues. Expertise includes: complex documentation and due diligence matters, developing and implementing investment schemes, particularly those based on tax efficient structures, and managing a wide range of investor contacts established through FIM's investment business.
Richard is a registered adviser with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Wayne Cranstone PhD.
Director - Renewables Chief Operating Officer
FIM’s COO, Wayne has 20 years of technical, commercial, stakeholder and general management experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining FIM he was the Onshore Wind Development and Construction Director for RWE Innogy.
Wayne is a Chartered Engineer and has a PhD in Engineering. He has overseen the construction of 16 wind farms (~350MW) and the sale of 10 wind farms (~200MW) over the past 8 years.
He has also represented the industry on aviation matters as a director and vice chair of the Aviation Investment Fund Company Ltd.
Wayne is a registered adviser with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Robert's primary focus is FIM's renewables business. Robert worked in wholesale and investment banking as a Managing Director for ABN Amro, prior to that, Chase and J.P. Morgan. Robert subsequently joined Rescap, the mortgage arm of GMAC, as Managing Director, member of the Executive Committee and a non-executive Director of their UK business.
He is a registered adviser with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Ed works on the origination, appraisal, execution and management of renewable energy investments.
Prior to joining FIM Ed worked with KPMG, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, before moving into commercial finance with Siemens L&A and then corporate finance with MacIntyre Hudson LLP, where he specialised in business start-ups and mid-market transactions.
Ed holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a registered adviser with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Alf has over 15 years’ experience advising Directors, Shareholders and Stakeholders on corporate finance, restructuring and corporate turnaround matters across a broad range of sectors. Previously with Grant Thornton UK LLP, Alf also has two years’ experience in international industry and spent a year on secondment to the global restructuring team of a high street bank.
Alf is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds the Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance qualification (CF).
